The Journey That Shaped Me
I didn’t know exactly where I was heading
I just knew I wanted to grow.
I’ve been working since I was nineteen. I originally wanted to pursue human resources, but growing up, I only heard success stories of female leaders in the financial sector, so I chose that path too.
Back then, I didn’t know exactly where I was heading. I just knew I wanted to grow, contribute, and become someone of value.
My journey began as a part-time worker at an accounting firm, then continued at a law firm where I worked as a finance officer for 20 hours per week while pursuing my first Bachelor’s degree in Financial Management.
At 23, I got my first official job. Mama wak! I made it to the banking sector and started at a renowned firm, a place that taught me the gift of support, teamwork, and being cared for like family.
The words that change everything...
“Silvetty, you have so much more in you.”
A pause was not the end of my journey.
It became part of how I learned to keep going.
The pause
I stopped with my degree as well since it felt heavy to combine new job with a bachelor degree.
It was here at this moment that I learned that I should always pause, but not give up.
Finding my voice
My journey at this organization taught me how to navigate expectations, how to find my voice in a room full of opinions, and how to keep showing up even when it wasn’t easy.
I was easily seen as different, as difficult and more.
I didn’t change, I remained outspoken and with a great commitment to make great impact in the organization.
The seed of courage
After some years, a simple conversation with my boss changed everything.
He looked at me and said,
“Silvetty, you have so much more in you.”
Those words stayed with me.
They planted a seed that grew into courage.

Growth
This season stretched me, strengthened me, and awakened something deeper within me. These are the lessons I carry from that chapter, and the same reminders I now share with the women I walk beside.
Give yourself permission to become.
Shortly after, I went back to school and began my journey toward earning my Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, not because I had to, but because I was ready to give myself permission to B~E everything I was meant to be.

Growth will stretch you, but it will also strengthen you.
Studying again while working wasn’t easy, but it taught me resilience and the inner strength I have.

Investing in yourself is an act of belief.
It showed me what it means to invest in yourself, and believe you deserve success. That season awakened something in me.

Leadership is not about control, but connection.
After graduating, I followed my own path, stepping into a leadership role, guiding teams, managing people, and learning that leadership is not about control, but connection. It’s about energy, trust, and presence.

My journey was no longer just about building a career.
It was becoming a calling!
I learned that leadership was never just about achievement.
When I got my second leadership role, I went on to earn my Master’s degree, and worked for a very important organization in Curaçao. It was during that chapter that my journey began to evolve from career to calling.
I started listening more to the whispers of intuition, to the quiet voice that told me I was meant to help others rise too.
Now, I use what I lived to help women lead differently.
That’s where the coach, the mentor, and the Wisdom Whisperer in me was born.
Today, I combine everything I’ve learned, the structure of leadership, the discipline of study, and the softness of feminine energy, to guide women back to themselves.
To own and connect with their personal leadership and navigate their professional journey rooted in authenticity and self trust.

Where purpose meets presence!
My story was never just about career milestones.
It was about becoming whole.
With time, I began to realize that my story was never just about career milestones, it was about becoming whole.
I was born to change the narrative of how women lead, behave and grow professionally.
My soul wanted to soften.
To listen.
To be led by something greater than the plans and deadlines.
It was then that I started to understand the power of feminine energy, not as the opposite of strength, but as its equal.
Feminine energy is the rhythm of flow, intuition, and creation. It’s what allows us to lead with both grace and groundedness.
When I allowed myself to listen deeply, to the whispers, to the stillness, to my own divine wisdom everything began to align.
My gifts, the connection with the creator and all the things I went through led me precisely here.
I had spent years being strong, reliable, and focused. I could manage teams, lead projects, make decisions and I was good at it.
But in the quiet moments, I could feel something shifting.
I no longer wanted to lead just with strategy.
I wanted to lead with soul!

Through mentorship, conferences and sisterhood experiences, I help women reconnect with their own wisdom, awaken their feminine energy, and step into leadership with confidence and compassion.
Whispers of Wisdom
A women’s circle hosted twice a year in Curaçao.
This is the space I create:
a space where women can rediscover their strength, their softness, and their sacred balance.
Because when one woman rises,
she lights the path for many.
Becoming Silvetty is not a story of reinvention.
It’s a story of remembrance, of peeling back the layers,
one season at a time, until only truth remains.
